Master Gardener Program - The mission of the Master Gardener Program is to provide current, research-based, home horticulture information and education to the citizens of Iowa through ISU Extension programs and projects. Through their participation in educational activities, Master Gardeners also increase their own personal knowledge in horticulture. |

Pest Management and the Environment (PME) - The PME group primarily involves program development and delivery in integrated pest management, pesticide applicator training, safety and education, pesticide impact assessments, school IPM, invasive species, and urban agriculture. Members of the PME team have expertise in entomology, soil science, weed science, organic agriculture, agronomy, agricultural education, urban forestry, horticulture, and communications technology. PME works with field and campus specialists and county extension staff to deliver programs and information. |
