Anne Dombroski graduated with her M.S. degree in December 2005. She confirmed pathogenicity of a newly recognized leaf spot disease of Japanese tree lilac (Syringa reticulata) and has narrowed down the identity of the pathogen to a probable Cercospora spp. Her research also defined the in vitro temperature optimum for this pathogen. Since graduating, Anne has been working as a research assistant in the Gleason lab, and has mentored a freshman honors research assistant, Andrew Stei.metz
