Laura Jesse

Laura Jesse started work in the laboratory as an Assistant Scientist in May 2006. Laura received her M.S. and PhD degrees in Entomology at Iowa State University. In addition to her graduate work, she also worked in the Insect Diagnostic Clinic. She loves working with insects and telling other people about the wonders of the insect world. She is also interested in insect-vectored plant diseases and plans to work on bacterial wilt of cucurbits, a bacterial disease vectored by spotted and striped cucumber beetles.
