On Saturday January 30th, one of the Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology's finest will be participating in this years 'Dancing with the Story County Stars'! Claudia Lemper was chosen as one of the 'Story County Stars' who will be paired up with a local dance instructor and together, compete for your votes and donations. For three years now, The Heartland Senior Services of Story County has put on the event, raising thousands of dollars each year towards funding for senior services.
This year's program will be held at the ISU Memorial Union on Saturday January 30th at 6pm. Tickets are $25 for the general public and $15 for ISU students which can be purchased at the door.
Claudia and the dancing program were recently featured on the front page of the Iowa State Daily. With the aid of her dance partner/instructor, Rod Biensen, they will be dancing to the tune of "Swing the Mood by Jive Bunny and the Mix Masters.
