As part of a publication on soybean diseases and pests, we are creating maps of the distribution of several soybean diseases. We created a first draft of these maps with the help of Craig Grau at the University of Wisconsin. These maps are estimates of where each disease is found in the U.S. and Canada. We know that diseases vary year-to-year, but we are trying to get the best educated estimate of each disease distribution. Would you be willing to check the distribution of each disease in your respective state and correct the boundaries for each disease? I envision that the quickest way to receive feedback on these maps is to have you print these off and edit, then fax, mail, or scan and e-mail to me (contact info is below).
Thanks,
Daren Mueller
