What is the farmer's risk of liability if the fungicide that he or she applies drifts and causes environmental damage or property damage or causes injuries?

I think there's really two liability issues, and one is compliance with the law or the label, quite likely, they are in violation of the law if they allowed a product to drift to the neighbors' fields or property, and the other is civil liability, and certainly if there's harm or damage done, that person could be subject to a lawsuit. – Chuck Eckermann
