Overwintering Update: Soybean rust remains at low levels in Louisiana, Alabama and Georgia, although the incidence of rust has increased slightly in Louisiana. To date, rust has been reported in 17 counties in 5 states in the U.S.

Update from Mexico: High temperatures and the harvest of several susceptible crops have created unfavorable conditions for Mexican soybean rust development.

Early projections: Florida is receiving heavy rainfall but not in the other southeastern states. Spore movement is also likely limited because of the limited sources of rust in the Gulf Coast areas.
