On August 18th the Department of Entomology and Department of Plant Pathology & Microbiology held a picnic for Dr. Steven Harris to welcome him as Chair of both departments. Dr. Harris began his position as Chair on April 1st, 2021, but the desire to welcome him in-person delayed the welcome by several months. The picnic was held in the evening at Brookside Park and involved lots of food, a historical trivia mixer, and faculty, staff, students and many of their families.
