This fall, the Plant Pathology Graduate Student Organization (GSO) hosted a window decorating competition for all residents of the Advanced Teaching & Research Building (ATRB).
“Through this contest, we hope to encourage camaraderie throughout the building, provide some friendly competition between labs, and brighten the spirits and send positive messages to the campus community” said President, Monica Pennewitt.
Many labs from across various departments, including Plant Pathology & Microbiology, Entomology, BBMB (Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology), EEOB (Ecology and Evolutionary Biology), and GDCB (Genetics, Development, and Cell Biology) participated in the first window decorating contest. Undergraduate students enrolled in Plant Pathology 408: Principles of Plant Pathology served as the judges for the contest.
Winners of the contest were:
First place: Tylka Lab
Second place: Espin-Campbell Lab
