Andrew James Penney recently joined the Mueller lab with her co-advisor Alison Robertson. He is a graduate student in the plant pathology and microbiology pursuing his Ph.D. Andrew obtained his master’s degree in seed technology and business and his agronomy bachelors from Iowa State University. Andrew’s main interests include the applications of artificial traits on crops.
Joshua Nathan Viggers recently joined Dr. Daren Mueller’s lab. He is a new graduate student majoring in Plant Pathology and Microbiology. Joshua completed his undergraduate degree in Crop sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on May 2017. Joshua interest focus around the improvement of pest management such as fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides.
Katerina Louise Holan recently joined Dr. Steve Whitham’s lab. She is a new Ph.D. graduate student majoring in Plant Pathology and Microbiology. Katerina completed her Bachelor’s degree in Crop Sciences from University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign.
